Cheeseburger Bun Toast
A couple of weeks ago when I was making that AMAZING Bacon-Cheeseburger Potato Soup, I remembered one of my FAVORITE recipes that I KNEW would be the perfect accompaniment for dipping. This Cheeseburger Bun Toast recipe came from my all time favorite Paula Deen Magazines from way back in November/December 2009. I swear the flavor of this cheese toast is so amazing from the mustard/Worcestershire/Swiss cheese that I could eat the whole pan by myself! I usually make us 2 batches ‘cuz we ALL love it so much! Try it the next time you make cheeseburger soup and you will have one happy family!
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 hamburger buns, split
- 1.5 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- dried parsley
Spray your baking sheet lightly with Pam.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, mustard,Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt.
Place, split buns cut sides up on the prepared baking sheet and spread mixture evenly over the top. Top each one evenly with cheese and then sprinkle with parsley
Broil, for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown. (Watch closely!)
Serve and enjoy!
